Suspect who killed 5 in Seattle Mall arrested, identified

Suspect in the Seattle’s Cascade Mall shooting was arrested Saturday night, police said.

Shooting suspect is Arcan Cetin,20, authorities said. According to media he is Muslim. Cetin’s family, who immigrated from Turkey when Cetin was a child, was said to be cooperating with authorities.

The gunman began shooting at the Cascade Mall around 7 p.m. local time on Friday in the cosmetics section of a Macy’s department store. Four women were killed in Macy’s Friday night, State Patrol Sgt. Mark Francis said. A man who was flown to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center in critical condition died overnight, Francis said.

Among murdered women is 16 years old Sarai Lara. She was the youngest of the victims. The Mount Vernon High School sophomore had survived cancer as a young girl, and was a happy, responsible, driven student, her mother said Saturday evening.

It appears that young Muslim terrorists more often choose the shopping Malls as their target.

In July a young Muslim terrorist gunned 9 shoppers at the popular shopping centre in Munich, Germany. A teenage terrorist acted the way that German police believed there were “multiple active shooters” in the city. It took several hours for law-enforcement to find a dead suspect, who paralysed the whole region of Bavaria until early morning hours. The police investigation revealed that Turkish-German Munich terrorist, who killed himself, had links to Syria.
