Media: Left Presses On Biden To Enforce Abortion

White House will not reveal its action plan until Supreme Court speaks.

Frustrated voters are making phone calls to White House requiring it to defend what they called "their right for an abortion".

The Wall Street Journal reported that White House has said it won’t detail its next steps on protecting abortion rights until a final ruling, and the president has directed the Gender Policy Council and the White House Counsel’s Office to work on plans for how to respond if Roe is overturned.

White House administration is preparing their messaging and engagement strategies, according to a person familiar with the discussions.

But some left groups are pressing White House to act now.

This is an emergency. It’s not just a belief or a feeling. It’s a human- rights issue, said Amy Hagstrom Miller, president of Whole Woman’s Health, an abortion provider.

Democrats see abortion as a galvanizing issue for voters in midterms that have been expected to include losses for the party.
