Putin Aims To Boost His Diabolical Strategy of War Over Ukraine

Russia said it would not halt its military operation in Ukraine for any further peace talks.

COMMENTARY

After a failure of over a month-long war against Ukraine, the Russian dictator decided to replace Defence Minister Valery Gerasimov as its commander of armies in Ukraine with General Aleksandr V. Dvornikov.

Among Dvornikov’s achievements is indiscriminate attack with weapons of mass destruction against civilians in Syria, where he commanded Syrian Assad’s forces and the Russian army mixed with mercenaries. But now, unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, Dvornikov may add to that record.

One can guess what Putin told Dvornikov by the report from his talk to Austria’s chancellor Karl Nehammer who revealed that the meeting left “no positive impression”. According to the report, Putin refused to refer to the conflict as a “war”, and he said allegations of atrocities against civilians in Bucha were a Ukrainian “provocation”.
According to the other report, Mr. Nahammer said that all signs indicated Russians would “storm”.

This assessment is shared by the United States believes that Moscow has started reinforcing and resupplying its troops in Donbas in eastern Ukraine, as a senior U.S. defense official said on Monday.

Because as civilians flee, Ukrainian and Russian forces are moving in the other direction as they converge on the Donbas for what threatens to be the bloodiest fight of a war that is now in its seventh week.

Earlier Putin’s spokesman said it would not halt its military operation in Ukraine for any further peace talks.

Kremlin is pursuing a bestial, barbaric, and diabolical strategy of complete destruction of modern and prosperous Ukraine. And with the nomination of the butcher of Syria, it may indeed intensify.

On Monday, Russian vehicles being sent to the region included command and control elements and support personnel for aircraft and infantry units, the official said. Another official stated there was evidence that some of those troops in Belarus were moving east.
Russia still had the vast majority of its battalion tactical groups in Ukraine, including more than 55 groups in the south.

UK prime minister Boris Johnson pledged to send armoured vehicles and anti-ship missile systems to Ukraine during a visit to Kyiv at the weekend, while Slovakia has said it would provide a long-range air defence system.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky warned this weekend of the “difficult battle” ahead in the Donbas, with the Russians assembling a “large number of troops, equipment and armed men who are going to occupy another part of our territories”.

It is the highest time for Westerners to understand that Ukrainians are defending their civilisation of freedom and development against the Moscow-generated anti-civilisation of coercion and regress.

If images of the razed building of apartments in Mariupol, Kyiv, and Kharkiv with inhabitants burying their loved ones, neighbours, and unknown whenever the soil can be dug up, then the mass graves in Bucha, Irpin must be the last word.
