Brisbane Archbishop's Revolt Against Natural Law

Bishops who are lack the courage to lead by pointing at a reasonable attitude should retire.
Archbishop of Brisbane Mark Coleridge is pushing for more active gay inclusion in the Catholic Church due to the Vatican's ban on blessings for gay couples. He is not alone in his efforts. Controversial Chicago Cardinal Blaise Kupich supported him.
Brisbane's Monsignor wrote on his Twitter: "church that says we cannot bless same-sex unions is equally obligated to ask how we we can include same-sex couples."
Monsignor Coleridge is more concerned about inclusion of same-sex couples than what Church has taught for decades. It is appropriate to remind His Excellency what should be on his mind.
From the beginning of the institutional church and even earlier homosexuality was abnormal state of mind from the perspective of Natural Law. In Western civilisation, the institution of marriage has been reserved for man and woman.
The so-called queer theory developed in 1980s by gays and lesbians and introduced to the Universities in 1990s denies the Natural Law and builds on Marxist views rejecting existence of marriage as an institution.
For decades Catholic Church was one of the first institutions which pointed at the gay unions as an example of the logical mistake.
Is Monsignor Coleridge courageous? Not all. He is another conformist who has no courage to explain the traditional teaching of Natural Law to the society which closes its ears and covers its eyes. But unlike you or me, Archbishop's only call is to be a custodian or preacher of this message.
If he decides to fail by choosing opposite side of the truth, there is a Jesus's lesson to be applied.
As Jesus taught posing a question regarding the calling for believers, if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?
He promptly replied, it is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
Brisbane's Archbishop has been visibly ashamed of Natural Law, which has been perceived as an intellectually integral and morally right attitude for centuries. He does not know how to defend it and lost interest in it. It is why he should resign.
