The wife of the UNPACU leader Ms. Nelva Ismaray Ortega has stated she held top Cuban Communist officials responsible for her husband's life.

Cuban medical doctor Ms. Ortega blamed General Raúl Castro and his successor, Miguel Díaz-Canel, for what would happen to political prisoner Mr. José Daniel Ferrer.

Mr. Ferrer, recognized by Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience, has not been able to establish contact with his family since his arrest on July 11, when he was preparing to join the demonstrations, a part of the peaceful anti-Communist Uprising.

Solidarity!, she addressed the international community on her social media page. My husband remains MISSING, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Cuba UNPACU, three times Political Prisoner of Conscience, President of the People's Party and of the Council for Democratic Transition in Cuba Mr. José Daniel García Ferrer, she stated.

Solidarity!, she wrote on her social media page calling for help of international community in release of her ill husband.

We hold the dictator Raúl Castro and his puppet Díaz-Canel, as well as every official of the regime responsible for the physical and psychological health of my husband  Ms. Ortega wrote on her social media page.

Ms. Ferrer's wife informed that since his arrest on the first day of the anti-Communist Uprising in Santiago de Cuba, she could not see him or talk to him via phone.

We do not want letters and much less edited videos but to see him physically!!!, she wrote.

Ms. Ortega referred to the incident of the video publication in which a secret policeman who introduced himself as Cuban Warrior claims Mr. Ferrer asked him to tell he is feeling good. But the opposition criticised the video as a troll's show, not an authentic communication by Mr. Ferrer.

As time passes by and we are not able to see or hear him, we will continue to count him as missing,  she stated.

Ms. Ortega called for an immediate release all political prisoners

In the same message Ms. Ortega also called for release of all political prisoners jailed after July11 anti-Communist Uprising, including opposition activist Mr. Félix Navarro whom she called our brother. Secret police arrested him despite of his terminal sickness.

We continue to demand evidence that my husband is alive. We are calling for an immediate release of my husband, our brother Félix Navarro and all the disappeared after peaceful protests in Cuba when they demanded freedom, respect for human rights, the change of the system, Ms. Ortega wrote.

On Wednesday, it has been seventy-nine days since the Cuban secret police arrested, illegally, Mr. Ferrer near his house.
