When over eighty years ago, the Nazis drew smoke from the buildings at the labor camps, many believed that the facilities were indeed labor camps. After the truth was revealed, the leaders of the Confessing Church knew they were guilty.

As a result, the Church emerged after the tragedy of the Holocaust bruised, fractured, and wounded.

Reinhold Niebuhr said that “a scandal of idolatrous indifference extinguished the flame of God’s presence”.

WATCHING THE GENOCIDE
In 2020, China is committing genocide against Uyghurs. Last week, a Russian customer found a letter from prison with cry  for help from one of them. But, for now, again, there is silence.
