READ INTERVIEW: Uyghur Lives Matter, Emphasises President of World Uyghur Congress

In December 2020, in an interview with The Owner Mr. Isa stressed that the Chinese Communist Party targets Chinese with a two-fold propaganda on Uyghurs who are portrayed as terrorist threat to Communist regime and as subhumans from the perspective of chauvinistically discriminating Han ideology. He urged, that the world needs to understand that the persecution of Uyghurs by Chinese Communist Party is not a normal act of aggression against individuals, but rather a premeditated endeavor aimed to annihilate the nation with its language, and cultural heritage. We have not yet observed any visible effort to stop the genocide of the Uyghur nation, he emphasised.
