Ukraine To Receive $125 Million Military Assistance From The US
The US Department of Defense announced on Monday a $ 125 million military aid package to Ukraine
Ukraine will receive two modern Mark VI patrol boats designed to patrol coastal waters. Ukraine will also receive battery-operated radars to detect sources of artillery fire, devices for receiving and processing satellite images, and field medical equipment.
These are the first military aid packages to Ukraine approved by the Joe Biden administration.
With the allocation of this package, the US provides means for the defeat of Russian proxy, the Eastern Ukraine terrorist groups in Donetsk and Lugansk. Mr. Putin's regime utilises them to preserve instability in the country.

The State Department announced that the presence of these ships would help Ukraine organize effective patrolling on rivers and coastal waters in the country's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Azov. There are already six such boats in the arsenal of Ukraine.
Congress authorized $ 150 million in additional military aid to Ukraine this year.
However, Kiev will be able to use these funds to acquire US weapons and equipment only after the Pentagon and the US Department of State conclude that the country has "made sufficient progress" in the implementation of military reform. The US Department of Defense "urges Ukraine to expand reforms that strengthen civilian control of the military, increase openness and accountability in the defense industry, and modernize the defense sector in line with NATO standards and principles."
